So did it taste good? I am trying to find a way to like Salmon. So far I only like it smoked with cream cheese and capers. You make it look so good.

Sorry to hear about the boredom and annoying coworker at work.

It was pretty decent, but need some tweaking. Sometimes it is good that food looks good too, but never forget that your meal have to be complicated and fancy pants to be delicious! Simple, raw ingredients is the way go.

Since I am very fond of salmon, or all kinds of fish, I thought it was very good. The salmon taste was pretty subdued by the garlic, ginger and coconut milk though. The lime also added a nice touch.

Thanks, maybe try this recipe then, but really what's not to like with salmon?!

Yeah, not much I can do about that except ask for a transfer or quit. :/

Yarr - quite possibly, and to be honest after the last year and changing my body composition so much as I have done and seeing how much people struggle and I am beginning to wonder if I am on the right shelf at all. *sigh*

    Basics
Slept very well, but woke early by the alarm clock. Got up and had a cold shower. Brrr. The last few days with lesser kcal from removing about 100 grams of fat from my dietary intake has left me a bit more hungry than usual. Not much, but I've more often had pangs of hunger, and it did set me up for some fail today... especially when the firewall management server decided to go belly up. Really! On a Friday! At 15:00. How dare it! I just hope the restore is working. *cringe*

    Food
IF'ed for breakfast, but had two cups of coffee and six(!) squares (30 grams) of 70% at work plus a handful of almonds. For lunch I had 15 chicken wings and nothing else but water. Should really have loaded my plate with at least 10 more, because as I was leaving for work I had a growling stomach and the firewall incident didn't help. Went to the local supermarked and browsed the produce section. Brought home four angus beef patties, 1 kg salmon loins, 1 kg ribeye, bacon, eggs and some pork necks. With all that nice food ... and then 0.4 litre of vanilla/strawberry milkshake made from whole milk and not the worst kind of ice cream, but my tummy hurts now. It didn't taste too sweet, but I could feel the sweat prickling in my scalp.
I think the worst thing that was in the ice cream was glucose syrup and E 468 - crosslinked sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. The rest wasn't too awful. I hope.

Anyhow - it put me off the delicious food that I bought as I don't feel like eating anything now. Guess it will be salmon for breakfast!

    Supplements
    2000 mg Multivitamin
    1500 mg Superba Krill Oil
100 µg (4000 IU) Vitamin D - no real sun today.
    400 mg Magnesium
    800 mg Calcium
    750 mg Vitamin C

    Training
    Did 2 x 15 sitting pull-downs (in a machine) with 70 kg this morning at work, going to do 3 x 30 push-ups, and possibly 3 x 10 assisted pull-ups.

    Random Thoughts
So, whenever I go low fat I get cravings. Seen it before, and why the hell I bought that milkshake is beyond me. Ah, well! Eaten is eaten.

Forgot to add - on Monday I was 83,5 kg and today I was 81.5 kg. The lowest weight I've been in at least 25 years. I can fit a 30" jeans.

    Basics
Slept well, woke late. It was gooooood. Had a splitting headache until lunch when it cleared up, and so did the weather too. It is the same each time. Whenever there are rapid pressure changes I get a headache. All well now, clear blue skies out. Cross my fingers it will be the same tomorrow!

    Food
Breakfast was two eggs and bacon of which I scooped up the fat with a spoon. For lunch I had salmon with veggies and a kind of butter sauce that I made from reducing apple juice (the original recipe called for white wine) with red onions and spring onions. When it was pretty much reduced I added butter and melted it in. Added pepper and had it over the salmon. It was actually quite good, and was a variation over the buerre blanc sauce.

For dinner later, much later I had two grilled angus beef patties with some veggies, not much at all. Very tasty:

    Supplements
    2000 mg Multivitamin
    1500 mg Superba Krill Oil
100 µg (4000 IU) Vitamin D - no real sun today, but was out all day.
    400 mg Magnesium
    800 mg Calcium
    750 mg Vitamin C

I've also found some real good DHA / EPA source 910 and 210 mg from each within two gel capsules.

    Training
Cleared some more bushes and stuff on the lot besides ours, plus fixed something on our house.

    Random Thoughts
Was at the shopping mall yesterday and they had a clearing sale and I got hold of a tent with room for three adults. The kids loved it:

Edit: I was 81.3 on the weigh in this morning - down 2,2 kg (4.4 lbs) since monday, just by cutting down my dietary fat with about 100 gram each day or approx 900 kcal.

    Hi Sungrazer,

Saw some of your before/after photos this morning. Impressive work! Great photos of the food, too. I agree with the girls on the tent.

    Thanks for the inspiration,

    Mary
