Ugh, smalahove - not my favourite, although I've never tasted it. I am sure it is, erh, delicious, but I prefer not to look my food in the eyes while I eat it... It is a tradition on the west coast of Norway. *shudder* Still after 400+ days of primal I cannot stomach it.

    Basics
Slept well, but woke up a few times during the night. Once by my oldest, and second by Safir scratching the doors to the closets. I think he is searching for his half sister. She used to sleep in the closets of his previous owner.

    Food
Some mexican dish with beef at lunch. It had kidney beans in it, and I can tell by now. Jeeez! The jokes about cowboys sitting around the campfire is true, that is for sure.

For dinner I had moose. A traditional dish called elgskav - it's basically moose meat thinly sliced and fried up with mushroom, then added sourcream, milk and spices. Served with potatos and other vegetables. I just had broccoli, cauliflower and cranberries.

It was good, but nothing to scream and shout about as some do. Also had two squares of 86% after dinner.

    Supplements
The usual oils, minerals and vitamins. No chance for sun, albeit it was sunny today.

    Training
Nothing - I was going to, but overslept. :/

    Random Thoughts
I am seriously behind on every other journal I read, and I do read - I just don't reply that often. Either because I am reading on my iPhone, or because my application to an added 3 hours to the day hasn't come through yet.

Anyway - I hope your day was great and that you are in good health! Thanks for reading!

    Humm - it wasn't that great - just "m'eh, I'll eat it."

'sup people - been absent lately.

    26th of October 2010

    Basics
Slept badly and woke early. Stomach was in turmoil.

    Food
Pulled a 22 hour IF from the day before. My stomach was totally bloated and painful from I can only assume the kidney beans. I am eating very clean now and it seems like a little bit of something that really doesn't agree with my stomach and it shuts down. Totally.

It somewhat sucks, but it also is a clear signal.

Ended my fast with eggs, bacon, cucumbers, broccoli and tomato. It was good.

    Supplements
The usual oils, minerals and vitamins.

    Training
Schedule didn't allow it. I did however do some body weight exercises at home. Push-ups and planks, plus I carried some wood inside from the garage.

    Random Thoughts
The cleaner I eat, the worse it is to stray from the "path". I know this now. Then why do I test my luck? :/

Howdy stranger! Were the kidney beans the last thing you ate before your fast? I wonder if it would better to follow bad food with a big steak or something to help move things along.

Yeah, they announced themselves pretty hefty after a short while. I immediately got a lot of bloating and general feeling of unwellness.

The food that accompanied the beans where actually not bad, it was a Mexican stew with beef and other goodies. I made sure to take more meat than beans. Might of course been a coincidence, but it sure as hell didn't feel like it!

Ugh - we best keep away from the crappy, crappy food.
