I really enjoy juicing--but do it whole food style in my Vita-Mix. I like to throw in a giant handful of greens, a small piece of ginger, juice of half a lemon, half an apple, and some water. I would really like to continue this once a day while I am on the journey to a Paleo/Primal lifestyle but I know that that the apple has carbs and sugar. My goal is to eat Paleo/Primal but I do need to lose 10 lbs so I would like to be somewhat restrictive of calories (esp. after reading some posts about ladies doing the lifestyle). Wondering if anyone has had success losing weight if they have included juice of this type.
I don't think there's anything wrong with making a green smoothie here and there (it would be best to add some protein); however for the long haul and for weight loss, it's best to make the time to eat real food.
