No advice, but I can relate. My SO is slightly overweight, although also muscular, but he'd definitely need to drop 20 lbs to get into the healthy range, and I'm sure he could even lose 30. Looks notwithstanding, his ethnic background makes him predisposed to cardiovascular disease - and recently his father said that his Dr, who's been in practice for a good 40 years, told him his cholesterol is the highest she had ever seen. I introduced him to the whole primal thing. End result: he's now eating a ton more fatty meat and enormous amounts of cheese ON TOP of still eating ice cream daily, drinking pop, etc. I'm just glad he's physically active. *le sigh*
