Confused about egg yolk: is it bad or not?!

    Primal Fuel
Mark has always preached that egg (yolks) are healthy and nutritious, and I know that the best bodybuilders regularly consume egg yolks, sometimes multiple times per day.

Yet when I see articles like this, it makes me confused!!

Out of the 1231 people in the study, those who had the most plaque build up in their arteries were the ones who consumed the most egg yolk...!!

    Thoughts people??

Did you read the front page article today?
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

Egg yolks do contain cholesterol, but they also contain lecithin that removes cholesterol.

In addition, high cholesterol does not cause heart disease. Cholesterol deposits do to arterial inflammation, not cholesterol levels.
