As far as I know, they had very little sugar in their diet. Olives, grapes and iirc figues, and pretty frugal at that.From what I've seen of what they ate, the ancient Greeks did not fear fruit.

How the hell are you built? I'm 185 and a size 12.....5'6. Granted I carry a lot of muscle in my butt and thighs.I basically get into size 12 and up the moment I start cresting 130 lbs;
Weight and size is just crazy. I'd expect that if I weighed 130, I'd be a 2.... and that seriously, it would never actually happen.
At 130 I could probably wear a size 4. The smallest size I own is size 6 and I used to wear these size 6s before I lost the weight, when I weighed 160+lbs. I just have to wear a belt now and I don't have to stretch them out when they come out of the drier. I find it hard to believe that anybody can just wake up 3 lbs heavier or whatever and suddenly wear a size 12 when 30lbs of weight loss doesn't make me unable to wear the same exact clothes I used to wear.

@Magnolia, sbhikes, you must be much more muscular than I am. I dunno if that is because I swam competitively till I was 12, or just fat-on-bone body type. Who the heck knows.
Yep, most people think I look fragile at my weight, but yeah, at 150 lbs I was size 14-16, and at 125 lbs I am about size 6-8, and it takes 118-120 lbs for me to get into Size 4. Size 2 is virtually impossible for me, & I don't think my skeleton would fit into Size 0. That's from waist down. Waist up, I am a 34B, so can do size 2-4 up to 130 almost.

Right now, I'm 5'6" and about 160 pounds. Back in CW days, I looked just right at 140, but when I eat this way, I look the same at 145. It's weird.
I was 125 back in high school and went up to 130 when I started playing sports, but I see picture of that now and I look like a tweaker. No thanks.
But no matter how lean I get, I will always wear a size large blouse, and I'm only a B cup, so it ain't that. It's just frame size. Bones is bones.

I get to size zero, no fat and looking as unhealthy as one can be. I can go from size zero to size six/eight overnight, depending of what I drink/eat, fluid load is something unbelievably unnerving. If I get a bad month and my hormones get crazy because of stress or some extra sugar or the sort I even get fluid to accumulate in my lungs. I find this to be really annoying and would like to know if anyone else has this swings.
