Taking it topically in an oil or even in a bath as Epsom salts
I am having trouble tolerating even half a dose (200mg) of magnesium glycinate - the stuff that is supposed to be easier on the tummy. What else can I try?

Taking it topically in an oil or even in a bath as Epsom salts
I have read that the magnesium absorbed in Epsom salt baths doesn't stay in your body as long as a magnesium chloride bath. I do a topical spray and find that that works best for me. I also do oral supplements but may have found my limit on those.

I get Mag. Cloride salts & make my own Mag oil, just spray on skin daily (usally before I go to bed)
You can leave 20 min then rinse off.. or just leave on.
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

I use this but only in the morning; it revs me up too much to take at night.

I've tried making magnesium oil and it hasn't worked. I bought a topical oil that I rub on about 1/2 hr before a shower. If I leave it on longer I get itchy. Oil lasts forever and works well. Apparently you absorb as much as you ever will in 1/2hr after application.
