Stretches are for after you are warmed up, to improve longer-term flexibility. Not of great benefit for the activity you are about to do, and not for when you are cold.
You could run on the spot, do some slower pushups, do some body weight squats to get ready.

It's going to depend on your body temp (time of day), ambient temp, how active you've been. Just go until you feel ready and prepped for hard work.
