L-Glutamine
Howdy ya'll,
Through furious searching on this very forum, I found a thread where someone recommended a particular powder they took for helping to heal their gut lining, and thus cure their food allergies.
Of course, I didn't bookmark it, or take note of the powder itself. Can anyone help me out? Or recommend something they used that helped?
Thanks so much

I recommend mixing 2 ounces of licorice root with an ounce of yucca root (Yucca schidegra) powders, and ingesting a half teaspoon three times daily at least 20 minutes before meals.
Both herbs are not only steroidal anti-inflammatories to reduce gut inflammation, but both also strengthen the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands produce the corticosteroids that control inflammation in the body and regulate the immune system to prevent allergic reactions.
Vitamin C rich foods are also very important as the adrenals require more vitamin C than any other part of the body.
Avoid stimulants like caffeine as stimulants crash the adrenals making things worse.
James, are you an herbalist?
Where can I find these powders? I live in Canada, and ordering online from the US will probably be a pain in the rear.
I'm interested, but live in the US. Need to get some vitamin C anyway, but can't have fruit right now so I'll have to find a good supplement for it.
Tasha, I'm honestly starting to wonder if I even have candida or not. I'm eating fruit here and there, and starch. My worst symptoms right now are indigestion. It sounds like all my symptoms go right back to adrenal fatigue.
Get yourself tested! Mine is still likely candida, as I'm getting yeast infections on and off when I start introducing sugar of any kind![]()
