Create a chocolate cake page

What are the basic ingredients for the most simple chocolate cake and how would I figure out the correct ratio of the ingredients.

I have tried those and they're great but in this case I'm talking about a big cake with basic ingredients and how to find the correct ratios. And I'm also trying to use potato starch and don't know how much of it I can use and if it acts the same as way flour.

Tropical Traditions has a superb chocolate cake recipe on their website although you may have to substitute the sweetener. I've also run across some good flourless chocolate cake recipes just doing a google search. I think there might be a good recipe on Paleo Musings blog.

I am going to be baking a flour less chocolate cake this Sunday form my beloved Joanne Fluke's cookbook, if everyone likes it, I can post the recipe. I won't be able to try it though, so it will be hearsay!

This is one of my favorite websites for Paleo friendly alternatives. Teresa Cutter is awesome! I literally just took a loaf of Paleo Pumpkin Bread out of the oven and it is amazing! (recipe from her, of course)
