    Dude, you really ought to have a little more patience. If you had read further, you would have discovered that I live rurally. That means WAY OUT IN THE FRIGGIN COUNTRY, like, in the middle of my own personal forest, where there is all kinds of poison ivy and fallen branches and forgotten barbed wire and 5-foot nettles and shit. I would like to see you try that in your bare feet.

    Steger Mukluks, insanely warm, very barefoot feel, get the camo ones if you want to look tough and will get dirty. I wore these last winter (although extremely mild around here) a few times biking when it was about 15F and my feet were toast and warm. They are flexible and bend a lot, unfortunately they are not cheap but should last awhile.
