    i was wondering if edamame is part of the primal food groups? and also humus?

    Neither are foods you should be eating regularly, especially edamame. Hummus might be okay here and there. Both are made from legumes (another form of seed), thus making them undesirable as food unless soaked or sprouted prior to eating.

    You can make your own hummus pretty easily, just soak the chickpeas first.
