wow, my cousin still had my lame poem - so here it is

Sticky rice sticky rice, how many times i have to tell you, you so nice?
One time? Two time? Oh sticky rice, dont make me tell you thrice!
In da morning, in da night, oh sticky rice, every time for you is right!
The way you so chewy, in my mouth, oh sticky rice, you make me stand up sit down shout shout shout!
Sticky rice sticky rice, never leave me, i dont ever, want to be hun-gry.
In my mouth i chew and chew, oh sticky rice, I LOVE YOU.


Enilenga - we must be talking about two different kinds of rice because Thai sticky rice
is not cooked in a pan. Ever. It's steamed in a mesh strainer over, well, a pot of water.

The only two story on the court - 4 bedrooms - and the master suite is the ONLY thing
upstairs.

Sticky rice does not contain gluten at all... glutenin or gliadin... and is a "gluten free" safe starch just like regular rice.

The "glutinous" part of the moniker refers to like glue... not gluten as in wheat. This stickyness is caused by low amylose and high amylopectin, which is how it differs from other types of rice.

Sticky and jasmine rice are the only two I would ever purposefully spend money on for groceries. Both are delicious, and I would never eat anything else. I also like pearl rice, which is also expensive. I'm so spoiled as an Asian.

It's really nice as a sweet cooked in coconut milk and coconut sugar. It's kind of hard to get the right consistency though.
