Good & Delish*Cashew Crunch | Walgreens
holy shit so good. Now How do I make these at home. Could maple syrup work in place of the rice syrup? and would i just like mix the cashews or other nuts with the syrup and bake it for a bit? would that hold them together?
Or how about some dried fruit instead of both of the sugars? You would basically be making your own Larabars.

Id rather just do nuts and something that binds them together to keep the carbs low as i get enough carbs from other sources.

You know all those pictures of Adam and Eve where they have belly button? Think about it..................... take as long as you need........................
I haven't had the cashew squares myself, so I don't really know how they taste/how to recreate the taste. But I'm wondering if some really dark chocolate, melted down, with cashews mixed in would recreate a similar product? I know the original product doesn't have chocolate. But that is the only thing that I can think of that would hold the cashews together. Of course fruit would work too. Like a previous poster said, figs/dates would work well in holding the cashews together.
The squares themselves don't seem to be that "low carb" with all the sugar/syrup in there. So if you take out the syrup/sugar and replace it with dates or maple syrup, then it'll still be higher in carbs.
hahaha just what I was thinking. Cashews are sweet all on their own.
Cashews + bacon fat. Once at room temp, it's a Primal Bar!
Cashews + coconut oil. See above.
Cashews + mashed avocado + agave syrup (it's natural). Chill to solidify avocado.
Yaknow, I was joking, but that third one minus the agave syrup (which you might as well suck cane) kinda sorta sounds good.
