    Buying Mature Coconuts

    Primal Fuel
Ok, I throw in the towel. Had great success on my first one. Second one was barely edible. Third was not edible. I don't know why the third one was so bad. I shook it to make sure it was full of liquid. It smelled fine and had no signs of black mold on the eyes or elsewhere indicating a problem. I don't know if they are out of season or I am going to the wrong store. Is there a way to get reliably good coconuts? Thanks.

You gotta knock knock with your hand and study the sound.

Buy 20 coconuts and listen to the sound they give you when you knock knock! Then you go by the sound.

You see? Simple. How would you survive in the wild if you had to figure this out on your own?

I would survive by eating coconuts that tasted like crap!

I always judge mine by how heavy they are. Works like a charm.

Yippee!!! I told my wife I would never buy another coconut but I just could not help myself. Picked one out, brought it home and cracked it open. Guess what? It is a real beauty-I mean you could use it in a TV commercial. And man is it good! Proves the old motto about try, try again.
