We started our daughter on goat milk at 12 months. She's now 14 months old and does half breast half goat milk. We started her on solids at 6 months. Sweet potatoes, avocado, pears, butternut squash, green beans, carrots, egg yolks and dark meat chicken are her regular foods. We'll give her some shrimp and salmon when we have it.
Going to introduce her to goat milk yogurt next.
All vitamins and minerals are important, but at this stage definitely make sure the baby gets enough iron, which will be tested for at 12 months.
