no such thing as a primal cereal
learn to plan ahead
Hard boil some eggs, open a can of tuna & mash with an avocado, eat some Greek yogurt. All of those are fast options full of fat and protein.
Normally, I eat eggs for breakfast, but try as I might I always have days where I'm starving and I have to leave for work in 5 minutes. Sometimes I fast, and that doesn't always work out as it ends in me ordering a breakfast sandwich with my coffee. So what I do on days like this is grab a quick bowl of cereal. Sure, it's not primal, but it's a lot less harmful than a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant from Dunkin's. I count it as my 80%.
What do you suggest as the most primal-like as far as breakfast cereals go? I'm leaning towards Special K, but I'd like to hear some other suggestions.

Plain oats with berries and coconut milk.
You're joking about the Special K, right?!
I don't think oats are fitting the bill, either. On workout mornings, I have less time, so I do a coconut smoothie -- 2-4 oz coconut milk, water as needed, vanilla, sweetener (stevia), cinnamon and nutmeg. Optional add-ins: 1-2 T coconut oil, and 1-2 raw eggs; spinach, berries, etc. Most mornings, I can squeeze in fried eggs and a salad -- less than 5 minutes to make. But if I have to get out the door, then I do the smoothie -- or I fast!
Have a bowl full of mixed nuts and berries, pour some kefir or coconut milk over it. booooom.
pre-cooked hard-boiled eggs. i always have some in the fridge.
primal cereal is an oxymoron.
i'd be a vegetarian if bacon grew on trees.
Was about to say... "You're joking about the oats, right?!"
Smoothie is another great option. Coconut milk + eggs + vanilla, nutmeg, and maybe a touch of stevia or honey if needed = primal egg nog.
And when we say coconut milk, we mean from a can. Not the So Delicious frankenfood you find in the dairy section.
ETA:
if you desperately want Primal cereal, try NoNola, but you're still going to have to prepare it in advance.

I buy organic, nothing added rice crispies for my daughter. Hot cereals, like soaked oatmeal or millet or buckwheat might work for you if you are not trying to adhere to strict paleo/primal. Just make sure to combine them with adequate fat and protein and you are doing real good whole foods approach.

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
How the heck do you "slip" and have cereal for breakfast? Does a strange man leave it on the porch next to a banana peel so that you flip with your mouth open as the cereal flies down your throat?
I think not...you need to make a conscious decision not to buy it and not to eat it if someone else buys it. What a horrible way to start the day!
Fry up some eggs and keep them in the fridge. Great cold, ready to grab and go.
