Second, yes, journals are accessible to everyone but there is an implied code of decent behavior involved. You don't go into someone's home uninvited and unleash a multi page tirade at them. A person's journal is personal. You were out of line. Even Grizz wouldn't sink that low. You can call me anything you want here but, if you so that again on my journal, I will report you for harassment.

Third, not being interested in debating a topic with you=/=being scared to debate it. Just not interested.

And if anyone wants to contradict you, I'd much rather they do so with evidence. Preferably involving links to credible studies, or objective analyses. (Come to that, I really want someone to contradict you with credible studies and/or objective analyses. It would be much more interesting than yet more ad hominem.)

As for the comment above this says nothing about Lugol's as you kept claiming. Secondly, you need to learn the difference between iodine and iodide, which is less toxic. Sorry James, but I did mention several times that I am using Lugol's 2% iodine . I also looked up iodism and bromism, came to the conclusion that each side was claiming that rashes were caused by the other's meds; so took time off. Rashes are basically gone, bellyaches continue, and I KNOW various docs have recommended single large doses of iodine to cope with bad air (on planes) and bad water. So, for now, I'm back on iodine.

The quote Grizz posted said nothing about Lugol's. Secondly, Grizz has repeatedly said that I have claimed Lugol's is poisonous when I said no such thing about Lugol's, so he is just lying once again.

As far as the iodine poisoning goes only half of your symptoms fit possible bromine poisoning. Your symptoms fit iodine poisoning 100% and according to your original story started after starting the iodine therapy. I don't recall you saying anything about any bromide based medications. But again, if you want to believe in the "bromine detox" myth then that's up to you. But others are interested in facts such as bromine is rapidly excreted, bromine poisoning is going to be extremely rare and people keep falsely attributing iodine poisoning to "bromine detox" even though the symptoms are not fitting. So if you don't want to hear it then don't read what I write and let people who are interested read it.

First of all I have every right if you are going to try defaming my character just because you never bothered to research the facts before posting. What is not cool is you first bashing me here for no reason, then continuing the bashing on your journal, then coming back here just to post more insults in each of your posts. As far as it being your journal that journal is not private. I found the message when I clicked on new messages. And I did not bother reading what the heading of the site was. When I first popped in on the first Iodine thread and Grizz and Paleobird were at it worse than my teen sons and I asked who was worse you would not believe the number of PMs from members saying how Paleobird thinks she runs the forum and is rude and smug and patronizing. More than a few said she drove a number of older members away. I can see why.

First of all if someone is going to post an outright lie about me just because they got their ass whooped by real evidence and they were unhappy about it then it does not matter where that post is. I have every right to respond to their lie. You keep referring to everyone having a screw loose, but your constant lies and insults just proves to everyone who really has the loose screw. If you cannot figure out who that is take a long hard look in the mirror.
