I got sick so I stoped eating Paleo.........

Not me.....but several others that have been "converted"

They do so well for like six weeks and then they get a cold and start eating pizza and other things that they know not to eat. Seems very strange that eating such great food and get a little cold and it all goes to shit!

My thing is that most people that have "converted" from myself or fiance DO NOT READ ANYTHING about Paleo/Primal!!!! That to me is dense and I tell them so as it is a very easy choice to not eat stupid stuff when you realize just what it does. Seems that most treat this like Atkins or something vs. a way to reset your genetic expression. Oh wait....this now sounds like a fad diet

You should keep a vat of bone marrow stock brewing and bring it to them. A hot jar of that is the new coffee, I tell ya what!

Thanks for the reminder - I need to make some stock from those marrow bones I got from the farmers market.

When/if I ever get a cold/sick(it does not happen very often), i opt for either fasting/rest, or if I'm hungry, I choose to eat wholesome foods. Eating crap just seems like it would prolong the sickness. The bone broth that Doc B suggests is great stuff! I like to think of it as Primal Gatorade.

That's funny. The only time I've gotten sick since starting Paleo 2.5 years ago was when I took a short break when some friends were in town. I won't be doing that again.

Dosen't work so well with a toddler in Daycare. Although 6 months primal and I've only been sick once!

I was given a suggestion that blew my mind, so I'm going to share it with you: crockpots are portable. Set it up in the garage, and set a timer in the house.
Most people don't realize how much energy it takes for me to pretend to be normal.

If I wanted to listen to an asshole, I'd fart.

As simply logical as this is - I haven't thought of it either! Brilliant!

I throw food in a cooler and let Mother Nature do the cooling/freezing for me in the coldest parts of winter, but the idea of having something like those Southern separated kitchens in my garage never occurred to me...

Guess what?! - I'm gonna' make bone broth today!
