Does coconut milk/cream contain electrolytes?
I've recently started Bikram yoga and sweat a LOT in class. We are advised by the teachers to rehydrate and replace minerals lost by adding salt to food and drinking a commercial electrolyte replacement drink or coconut water. I've been buying young coconuts and enjoying eating/drinking those but alas my local store has run out.
I have been wondering, if coconut water is so great for electrolytes, is it the same for coconut milk and coconut cream from a can?? do these have coconut water in them or is it just an emulsion of coconut meat and (plain) water?

Both contain potassium, but a cup of coconut water is a little higher and much lower in calories FWIW.
