I bought thirty pounds of frozen "wild caught Alaskan" pollock last winter because it was super cheap. When I opened the package I found that it was actually from China and probably therefore wild caught after it was farmed in a Beijing sewer. I was not impressed with the taste and found that most of the recipes that I use for fish didn't work at all with it. I found that baking it helped a little and I did manage to eat all of it.
