I have searched everywhere for an answer to this question, so forgive the intrusion.

Ketones are left over carbon from your body burning fat for fuel. I am on a Primal diet of 5% carbs (aim for 0, but that is almost impossible), 35% protein, 60% fat (to keep the protein to a reasonable number). Will I excrete ketones from the consumed fat being burned for fuel or is there a difference when burning stored body fat?

Simply: Will burning eaten fat for fuel turn a Keto Stick purple like burning stored body fat for fuel.
