Have you started a "free darth" thread yet?
I just tried the PM system - I am barred from sending a PM, but the system DID recognize the name again. Also, I can again search for Darth, but I only get posts that are older. Anybody getting better search results? I admit that I am still figuring out the fine-tuning of using it.
I think he may be on probation...

Darth was my favourite cranky Sith Lord. Sad face.

I want Darth back too. Have only been member a short period, but lurking for years, and everyone gets his humor.
Agree the place has changed in those years, too. And why.

Isn't that what the "ignore" function is for? why dob? if someone acts like a knob, people won't respond well, and they will learn to try a new approach. is the banning really necessary?
no kidding. i've used the ignore function a few times, and it's both handy and reversible.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.
fwiw, I also disagree with randomly removing posts. Sure, lock a thread but to just weed out some posts and in the process removing all context. It also means people will continue to behave badly as their past posts have been removed, or, when people get fed up and respond to knoobby behaviour, others can never work out the background to the reactions. i mean, why not 'hide' it with a label that it may be offensive, like when you 'ignore' a poster. But to remove all trace without any acknowledgement the post was there, particularly well after the event, not really transparent. It also means others may suspect someone was banned because they wrote something really really bad, but it has all been removed without a trace.
