I agree, the remake of 'The Thomas Crown Affair' was more watchable. I liked the original, but the remake really added something. 'The Usual Suspects' is a good call! I like Gabriel Byrne.

Wow, I reckon we have very similar tastes! The Pledge and Session 9 in particular I think are very underrated -

My own top five would be:

    Die Hard
    The Silence of the Lambs
    This is Spinal Tap
    Amelie
    The Dark Knight

Honorable mention: Dogville, Garden State, Sin City, The Usual Suspects, Oldboy, Wayne's World, The King of Kong, Van Wilder, Werkmeister Harmoniak, Withnail & I, The Princess Bride, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Battle Royale, Sean of the Dead, Glengarry Glen Ross, Little Miss Sunshine, Irreversible (try getting that one out of your head!)

I love Bowfinger, and I quote History of the World Part 1 a lot, but no one knows what I am talking about.
