Was just watching "The Doctors" on TV (very mainstream advice) and they were interviewing a guy who lost weight using these cookie food replacement products.

They said that these are no ordinary cookies...they're 60% organic and sweetened with all natural cane sugar! And a perfect balance of fat and sugar and protein, wow. The guy who lost weight said he would drink lots of carbonated water with them so that he would feel full and not eat too much.

Sounds healthy to me! How can they recommend this stuff?

What's their idea of "a perfect balance of fat and sugar and protein"?

Yet another million dollar "easy" weight loss sham that someone just got rich off of....*sigh*

At the expense of all the lazy, ignorant people in the general public.

The thing about the cookie diet is that; weight loss or not, you're never going to keep it off be cause you have made NO positive lifestyle changes. The people who do it have made just one huge negative lifestyle change of filling their lives completely with frankenfoods.

Pretty pathetic how the public gets swindled by actors putting on a show. Then again, if a television encrusted brain is soft enough to believe TV doctors, people are getting their just desserts.

I actually saw these cookies in a GNC store. The ingredients made me laugh.

    Yuck.

My friends are all on about this HCG (pregnancy hormone) diet, where all they have to do is take these drops and they will magically be skinny!!!

It makes me mad because I feel like it's just so lazy and not sustainable. I've lost 60 lbs so far by changing my lifestyle and they all say "but that's TOO HARD."

    Sigh...

The more I see the less I know for sure.

Lots of carbonated water + "cookies" = me feeling nauseous. Oh my God just hearing that combination makes me feel like vomiting :\

The Doctors are kind of wacky anyway :P

At least today at work I talked some young girls out of buying "100% organic agave sweetener". A small triumph.
