Anyone made their own?
I decided to give it a try tonight for the first time and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to do.
I used two egg yolks, some lemon juice, sea salt, mustard, bacon grease, whey and dropped in some fish oil to up the omega-3 content. I whipped it all up in my blender until it looked thick. Then I used it in my chicken-dill salad. It only tasted a little bacon-y.
Next time I want to make mayo, I think I'll try avocado oil.
