    Unhappy I Keep Overeating! Help!

    Primal Fuel
I am really upset with myself over this. I am a former sufferer of Anorexia and since I started to Primal diet lifestyle i've been eating more than I've ever allowed myself but I am gaining weight because I just override my natural point of satiety.

How can I stop doing this?

I am really struggling with my weight and if I don't sort this out I'm terrified I will resort to my old behaviours to sort it out, not something I ever want to do again.

    Thank you in advance xxx

p.s. I am 25 year old female at 5ft 3inches. I don't know what my weight is I avoid scales although I have been a normal weight for about a year now but it keeps increasing, but I know from my clothes that my weight continues to creep up so right now I just want to stabilise losing weight would be a bonus but I just need to get my bearings and its just not happening.

Are you male or female, how tall are you, what is your current and target weight?

Are you judging over eating because you feel stuffed afterwards? To the point of being uncomfortable? It happens to us all sometimes. For me only when I cook too much food and feel bad throwing it away. So my advice would be to pay close attention to the food you prepare and make sure it is not too much. Keep snacking foods out of the house might help also.

hi, i hope you find advice you can work with here, but i'm writing to recommend that you seek professional assistance with issues like this. it can be a huge help for (what i'm sure you know!) are serious problems. good luck.
"dean ornish and dr. davis think the palmitic acid our bodies use for fuel while we sleep is poison if we eat it. zero-carbers like charles washington think the oldest fuel in our evolutionary history – glucose - used by organisms a billion years ago and without which the brains of modern mammals cannot survive for more than a few minutes – is an unnatural toxin if you eat it. both views ignore basic facts of medical physiology and defy evolutionary history." - kurt harris

If you mean by you're outgrowing your clothes of size 0, it may be in your best interest to ride it out and continue overeating until your hormones and behaviors self-regulate.

I find I eat more when I am close to my cycle or I've started the day with fruit or some such carb. If I stick to mainly protein for breakfast like bacon and eggs and hold off on the fruit until at least lunchtime I am not as inclined to eat as much.

I wish I had leftovers, I prepare enough for what seems like 10 people but I have three sons, two are teens, and they eat everything I make so no leftovers to munch on later. If you want I can loan them to you

I agree with most of what's been posted so far. My only addition would be that maybe you could post a sample day's worth of food to see if you are indeed overeating.
