Me, too. I actually liked the black bean brownie recipe on allrecipes. I used to also cook lentils, mix it with a bunch of cocoa powder and a touch of stevia, blend, and spoon into my mouth. Heck, I'd try that even now.
I'm a pretty big bean fan, actually. I never eat them much anymore, though. Azuki bean paste is pretty much all I eat from the bean family nowadays, plus the few beans they stick in unsweetened tteok.
are the slimacado the same as a florida avacado? I prefer the hass or california avacado.
Kind of an opposite one. They buy us junk food for our birthdays. They asked what I wanted: I said easy: Fruit platter. Or strawberries. Or anything of that nature.
What I got: Some random cake.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I've never found fruit to be a filling snack item. Maybe it's just my grain fed palate but whenever I ate an apple, melon, bowl of berries, insert fruit here, I was hungrier than when I started. It left an empty unsatisfied feeling in my belly.
They're just Florida avocados. They are real, whole food and they're not tampered with in any way. They just happen to be lower calorie than a hass avocado. They're also gross IMO. I bought one once because they were huge and being sold for $1 (they had no stupid "slimcado" sticker on them, just a Florida avocado sticker). That was the one and only.
