    Flipping through some food channels today, came across this item on one of them. Did a little research on-line, and it sounds like with a few adjustments, (some include rice/flour) this very weird dish maybe primal....just wondered if anyone out there has tried it. Have to admit the thought of bananas in a savory dish has me intrigued and grossed out at the same time lol.

    how funny that something with bananas and peanuts has become a "traditional" swedish dish!

    bananas in savory cooking are pretty typical in the islands and africa.

    it's sweet, savory, salty. sounds good!
    As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.
