I saw them at Walgreens and decided to try them. I got the peanut m&ms by mistake, but they were better than the Mars brand. The snickers bar & pb cups were just okay.

For me, I think it's something I would binge on. Maybe only one pack a day, but I'd probably end up having a pack every single day. But that's me.
I like making a 50/50 mix of coconut oil and whatever nut butter is on hand, add in a little salt and a little cocoa powder and calling it a day. Anything more "candy-ish" than that and it's just going to start something bad for me.

Sounds awesome. I find most candy too sweet, so this would probably be a good alternative....I've been thinking about making candy myself, actually, but I'm afraid it'll be a slippery slope since you have to make more than 1 serving at once.
I tried the peanut butter cups-of course it wasn't reeses but more natural ingredients made me feel a little better, BUT still had many ingredients I guess so it can still have a longer shelf life-naturally preserved instead of artificially preserved-IDK if that is such a great advantage. But its candy . . . man! So have your day or an indulgence with this or some home made candy and don't get all paleo fundamentalist on everybody- remember paleo/primal is a diet guideline not a religion or cult.
Peace

I find it hilarious that the same people in this topic saying they have to try this or these would make a good treat are the same ones who shy away from honey or maple syrup and encourage others to do the same. This shit is frankenfood at its finest plus it has agave. Not something anyone should be ingesting.
There is an Unreal Candy display next to the Staples check-out. If I hadn't read this thread, I would not have noticed it. Curiosity got me and I bought a #8 which was peanuts, caramel, etc. It was pricey at $1.19 and pretty small, BUT man-o-man was it good!! I guess that is what candy bars used to taste like when I was a kid back in the fifties.
For peppermint patties I used a recipie that made the filling with coconut oil, unsweetened shredded coconut, and peppermint oil. You coat candy molds with chocolate of your choice, let them set in the freezer for about ten minutes, then add the filling and freeze for another ten, then top with more chocolate and freeze for a final ten minutes.
I had discovered the Unreal candy, and when I'm wanting something of the sort, I go for the "M&M's". Could do a lot worse with actual M&M's.
