Ooh! I follow your blog, and if you look at my journal, I posted that I made those yesterday.
I could not find the protein powders that you suggested, so I had to use what I had on hand: Vega vanilla chai. It's not completely primal or paleo as it has sprouted brown rice protein but no dairy, fillers or other stuff. I used almond butter and added some dark chocolate chips.
My husband went CRAZY for them after first wrinkling his nose at me. My 5-year-old loved them too.

Thanks! This should link to my journal. I'm a "recovering vegan", so I'm very new to some of the primal/paleo cooking, though I wasn't a junk food vegan and have been using whole foods, nut butters, coconut products for a long time.

I am going to try this! I have some SunWarrior vanilla and chocolate at home, but the only nut butter I currently have is peanut... not exactly paleo/primal... but I don't have anything else at home right now (although I want to pick up some almond butter or something when I next go shopping).
I've wondered about the peanut butter controversy as well............ but according to Mark - peanuts have a MOLD that is very unhealthy!!! So I'm assuming the mold is transferred into the peanut butter.............. But all things aside! I absolutely LOVE peanut butter!! I have avoided it at all costs since going primal. But I don't know............... peanut butter rocks! and if I could use it to make these awesome protein bars....... well, sorry Mark - but I just might have to go this route. Almond butter is much more expensive!!! Sometimes we just have to do what is most economical.

No grains, sugar, alcohol.
Eat 3 meals and primal snacks.
Don't track food.
Don't expect issues to go away quickly. Instead, just follow the plan and see how things play out.
Decide on an exercise plan you can/will do consistently during the 30-60 days and then do it.
