    Comparing breakfast shakes

    Hi,
I'm trying to find a suitable breakfast replacement for the sole reason that I am a touring musician, and the bulk of my days are spend sitting in a van doing NOTHING while on tour. Very sedentary.

I'm trying to decide between Primal Fuel, Visalus, and VEGA one. Any insight?

Im also open to any other suggestions, shakes or otherwise! Eating a big meal of eggs and meat is nice once in a while, but when you're literally just sitting on your butt doing nothing driving for 8 hours a day, it's hard to imagine that big morning meal not leading to weight gain. My lunches remain light (usually a can of fish and fruit), and dinners are proper meat/veggies.

    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks!

Ugh. If these are your only options How about skipping breakfast altogether?

Or eat the same as lunch. Or leftovers from the night before.

    My go-to shake is:
    - 1 cup of almond milk
    - 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
    - one scoop of whey isolate
    - half a banana
    - ice

Blended in my magic bullet. It's delicious! Sometimes I sub half of the almond milk for coconut milk or even coffee.

Not sure if you are able to use a blender and ice though where you are.

Also, IF'ing is maybe not a terrible idea if having breakfast is a hassle.

I do SunWarrior Warrior blend. It has pea, cranberry, and hemp protein. Mine is chocolate, so it also has cocoa powder, fenugreek, konjac, and guar gum, is sweetened with stevia, and contains MCTs from coconut oil.
It's a little gritty, but I figure it's better than IsoPure Zero which I used to drink (and miss, it was delicious, but full of other stuff). I also like JayRobb, and VegaSport (different than Vega)
I think the price of the Primal Fuel is ridiculous.

I usually mix my powder with 1/2c grass fed cream, and 2c unsweetened franken-almond or coconut milk (SoDelicious brand. Loaded with stuff, but VLC. I guess I could do water instead, but the thought of water + cream makes my skin crawl for some reason)
