Ravun.. I can relate to your "lack of" patience...!!!!
Regarding a lack of patience, I try to stay focused on the journey and all the good things it brings to me, not just the weight loss. We will get there - and stay there! We are so much better off for being here at MDA. The use of mantras and theme songs helps me, too. I'll post some later....
Oh, and, Grokette, you are my hero! Your "before" is very similar to where I began my Primal Living. You inspire me!
Here are some healthy living mantras I like to play with:
1. Progress not perfection.
2. Endurance
3. Put your big girl pants on and get over it.
4. Banking the pain
5. This hill is mine.
6. No excuses.
7. I won't regret what I don't eat.
8. I don't want to be part of the obesity of America.
9. Eating clean; training mean.
10. Slow & steady wins the race.
11. Desire, dedication, discipline
12. I'm getting healthier every minute.
13. Fitness is a friend.
14. I just have to move.
15. I can stop in 30 minutes.
16. Nothing tastes as good as feeling healthy feels.
17. I am an athlete.
18. I am hard-core. (Within the perimeters of MDA! We know we don't need to bust it all the time!)

21. Put one foot in front of the other.

With someone who was living with near constant acid reflux/bowel discomfort/constipation i value this one most!
I will throw these up here, because i enjoy seeing ppl mid progress as well. Dont have any full body ones yet, but will soon. The first is from December, the second was a week ago.

Here's one 9 months into the PB. Down 20lbs of BF. I've got some middle aged guy skin stuff going on,(can't reverse the aging thing you know) and a little around the middle to lose yet. 53yrs old. I've put back on a little muscle mass since the last photo in this thread.
