Stacey, you look gorgeous! Congrats on a job well done!
Eating the right food dropped weight, but weight lifting has really shaped me. Pulled my waist right in. Add I love having a waist!
Late 40s - EEK! I'm in my late 30s. Funny how weight adds age. I think the same thing - that people look so much younger in their 'after' photos.
I believe the word HAWT has been used to describe what people like you look like
I got serious about losing weight April 2012. I followed a link looking for meals without bread or pasta and ended up at MDA summer of 2012. I'm not obsessive about what I eat, but my diet has gotten more and more primal as old favorites just lose their appeal.
This is me at my high of 205 lbs in Sept 2011.
This is me this morning at 125 lbs. My 14yo DD told me I was not dressed appropriately for a 50yo mother about to go run errands. I had to send it to my younger sister because I knew she'd get a kick out of it and I thought, "Hey, it's an after pic!" Thank G*d for good food!
CW-125, part calorie counting, part transition to primal
GW- Goals are no longer weight-related
No way. You just do not look 50.
Way to go!!
thanks pebbles :-)
laura- my jaw literally dropped when I saw your before and after shot. you're such a babe.
I come from a background of chronic cardio, consequent of which I'm still recovering from a torn knee meniscus. I have so much empathy for all those people out there who are committed to losing weight but don't have the right guidance.

these pictures are brilliant so see. I was concerned about loose skin but it doesn't seem evident here.
When I'd had enough of the grain and starched based 'diabetic eating for health' diet (eating for health, my ass!) my weight was 242.5 lbs. On starting primal- 18th April 2013 weight : 238.1.
27th July 2013. weight after 100 days 136.9 weight lost 101.2lb ; that's 105.6lbs since I stopped the 'diabetic eating for health'
