You don't have to be sick to get better.

Thank you. I guess I had an epiphany that I am a success even if I don't look like Paula or some of the other women featured in the official success stories.
That picture of myself at age 11 represents my genetic potential. Following the Primal Blueprint, it was fairly effortless to reach my genetic potential and it's proving to be fairly effortless to stay there. I'll let my sister try to look like Paula. She's got a better chance. We women should really be more realistic about true female health and beauty. I know Mark is trying to sell books, but sometimes I feel like his choices for female success stories perpetuate a certain cultural bias toward a certain look for women.

now it's time to stop screwing around with diet and annihilate that belly

Chaohinon you look great! It's funny how you can go along and not realize how far you've come.
Frederique, if you are asking me, I just pretty much do the primal blueprint. I went low carb high fat at first to try to fix insulin resistance and insane hunger that wouldn't go away. That worked well. I'm medium carb now, but the carbs I do eat are mainly potatoes and root vegetables, not fruit. I eat way higher protein and red meat than probably most women, too. The 20% thing I pretty much use for pretending not to notice my boyfriend uses vegetable oils, Indian cuisine, a big dessert on my birthday, or other random things. I don't waste it on "cheating". I take a walk most days, do some body weight exercises--not as hardcore as the primal blueprint exercises, I've recently started sprinting once a week. Basically go for a slow jog and somewhere in the middle of it, run as fast as I possibly can for about 20-30 breaths, rest, repeat 4 times. Go hiking in the mountains for fun. That's about it.
