    Honestly? In a word. Random.
    I try to go by feel and listen to what my body wants. I do tabata sprints on my stationary bike once a weekish. Random pull ups whenever I pass the doorway where my pull up bar is. A 3-4 mile run about once a week- throwing a good hard sprint in there sometimes. PEMs- usually with added weight to squats and dead lifts once or twice a week. I love yoga, so I usually end up doing sun salutations and practicing arm balance poses almost daily. I play a lot- wrestle and toss around my kids. Go for walks (which often turn into carries) with the munchkins, pedal on my recumbent stationary bike while I read sometimes. Since going primal my energy has increased and I just move when I feel like I need to- which usually has me doing push ups, pull ups or handstands every hour. I take my kids outside to play in the sun often. Like I said- completely random! Some days I just sit around on my tush and make sure the kids are fed. I have upped the running a bit recently as I'm gearing up for some relay and mud races this summer.

    Wow!!!
    I enjoy yoga but I don't know about doing poses along those lines.
    That is really impressive.
    How did you stumble upon the Primal Blueprint and what made you want to try it out?

    The reason I ask is because I keep asking my wife to try it out and she refuses because it is "eating too much meat" in her words.

    I won't clog up the 'before and after' thread with my story- you can read much of it in the first entry of my journal. The 21 day transformation book was what got me, I think. The more I read, the more it made sense scientifically- and the MDA blog addressed and de-bunked a lot of the "science" that I was basing my health beliefs on. Plus I figured I could try anything for 3 weeks. Once I was a couple weeks in I was sold- hook, line and sinker.

    I may get her to read the Primal Leap Kit.
    I have that and the Primal Blue Print book.

    See how that goes for her. I would like her to get into this lifestyle. It would be nice to have someone else doing it with me.

    It's been a few months since my last photo compilation so I figured it was time for an update. Doesnt show much change from the last one so I figured this group here would be the only ones interested Lately ive been working on *increasing* muscle mass and tone, especially in the arms, and desperately hoping that my pudge around the abs will go away. Im hoping that the exercise ive been doing in bellydancing will help improve tone here, and improve my waist-to-hip ratio.

    Any ladies have tips on busting the last patches of ab-fat?



    Edit: amusing note, that plastic bag on my floor is for clothes that no longer fit. I keep meaning to take it to donation, but I keep getting more clothes to put in there
