I'm not very techy ... here goes nuthin' If the picture works, I'll edit in an explanation.

The top is last year at about 150 something. The middle (sure wish I'd cleaned that mirror) is at the beginning of primal. The last is me today.

I really love those swim shorts and wish I didn't have any muffin top.

@ Feanor78 -- you're on your way! Keep up the great work.

@ tooround -- wonderful! Though, maybe you will want to consider changing your forum name from "tooround" to "justright" or something along that theme.

Way to go for both of you!

Hi everyone. Some pics of my positive progression back to health.

First 2 pics April 2008 (age 56)...my heaviest at 196lbs, despite 11 years of desperately following all the good CW stuff (you know; low fat, running at least 15-20 miles a week (marathon in 2004), oats for breakfast, wholemeal bread, '5 a day' (and it was usually 5 apples!) Rarely ate eggs, cream, butter, cheese, nuts, red meat, chicken skin, bacon!!!!!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You all know what I eat now! But I'm amazed how little exercise I can get away with now! Rarely more than 30 min heavy stuff just once a week and about 5 x 100 meter sprints (a fantastic revelation!) every 7 to 10 days.

    June 2010, 58 years young, 152 lbs.

Tooround - the difference in your mid section from the 2nd and 3rd pic is incredible! Great job - how long have you been on PB? (means how long did it take you to get those results?? )
The pain of discipline or the pain of regret? You choose.

    Oh look - I made a Journal.

You guys are inspirational to say the least. I've not made as much progress as many of you folks but I've only been at it about 7 weeks and the progress is certainly noticeable, so I figure I'll post a progress report.

I'm basically the same weight as when I started, 160, I dropped about 8lbs in the first couple weeks and slowly gained it all back, I might even be a bit heavier... but its exactly what I'm going for - trade fat for muscle. I've actually got biceps growing after years of muscles wasting away as a vegetarian! =D

The difference is late February until July first. It's only about 6 or 7 lbs but the change in my body composition is remarkable. I love primal ... I really do!
