Great job! How long did it take you to go from "before" to "after"?

@soccerdfw: Not sure if you're asking me, but I began PB the week after Thanksgiving 2010. The before pictures, however, were taken before I had lost 10lbs by running EVERY DAY and becoming *gasp* vegetarian. I was stuck at 158 for a LONG TIME. That's when I began PB. So actually, it's taken me 6 months to lose 24lbs.

@everyone else~thank you for the compliments! They are the best motivation of all!

Been looking forward to posting in this thread for some time! Just finished my first month of CrossFit; today we did "Murph" for Memorial Day. I ramped it down a bit since I'm a noob, but I did a 1 mile run, 50 jumping pull ups, 100 knee pushups, 150 squats, and another 1 mile run in 44:30. I was trying to beat 45 minutes so I'm stoked! So, here are my before and during pictures.

    Before: December 2010, 215 pounds

During, May 27th, 2011. 5 months primal and 1 month of CrossFit. 187 pounds.

Well, my journey is not complete yet (is it ever though?) but today is 2 months of primal eating + stronglifts 5x5 for me. I weighed in this morning at 254.8 lbs. I lost 26 lbs on my first month and 19.6 lbs this past month. I seem to be on track to reach my goal weight of 215 lbs by my birthday in late August.

Let me echo Sarah: Two months and 46 lb weight loss is incredible! Well done, Glenn! Hope you post another set of photos again just before or just after your birthday.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I take the front and side photos every month. I have some friends and family that seemed a little concerned about the amount lost, but I told them I feel great. I always have energy and I get through my workouts, walks, and sprints just fine. Feel a little bit light headed after a heavy squat or deadlift set but I'm pretty sure that is normal, it goes away fast anyway.

I just feel really amazing, I can't even remember the last time I weighed 254 lbs. The last I remember was in 8th grade in middle school weighing in right at 280 lbs. I just can't thank Mark and the people of this forum enough. Was lurking here for a while before starting and just absorbing all the info I could. Everyone sharing their success and experiences with this way of life is a huge motivator.
