Paleobird - Wow - you're a brave soul! I can only use that as an inspiration for when I get into size 8 pants - kinda like bunji jumping - Ahhhhhhhh!
I thought it was about time to post an in-progress picture. Sorry, no tight pants or underwear shots at the moment, but I wanted to share my progress so far. Back in late February I decided it was time to make a change, I wasn't feeling very good and I took a picture for an article and thought, 'Wow, I look heavy.' I weighed myself (something I'd avoided) and discovered I was my heaviest ever! 174lbs, about 5'8". I talked it over with my wonderful, supportive wife and we emptied the cupboards of the pastas, bread, sugar, and M&Ms! I read the Primal Blueprint and we jumped in. We're still learning, still finding our way, but the progress has been great and this thread has been very encouraging, inspirational and motivational. I'm now down 27lbs since starting, my wife's down 15lbs but I'll let her post when she wants.
Great progress RyanM! Your heaviest ever is 174? Dang, now I almost feel bad about myself lol. I can't even imagine being 174 and I am an inch shorter than you. You look awesome man.
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug
What the F&#* is a decorum? - Mr. Anthony
Today is exactly one year from when I started my weight loss quest. So in one year I lost 78 pounds. I'm getting a lot closer to my goal, but even right now I feel a hell of a lot better than I did a year ago!
