all natural peanut butter? i want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant.
well, as long as it's non GMO, then it's not so bad.
I wanted to get some because I love to whip it together with an avocado and many other meals.
Seeing as I'm an underweight male, it easily helps me meet my caloric needs too.
I was going to include it in my "20" % but I already have cheese and non all nat. Protein.
Do you guys think I should just add it in my diet?
How bad are peanuts?
I would just go ahead and get the almond butter but 10 dollars a jar is ridiculous and knowing me the jar would be gone within a week or 2.

There are some bad things about peanuts, mark had a post on it...I don't buy peanut butter I enjoy almond butter more, BUT peanut butter is delicious, I say use it as a treat not a staple.
almond butter made me forget all about peanut butter. seriously. I go through phases, cycling the nut butters I get. currently I have crunchy raw almond butter in my fridge, almond + hazelnut butter in my cupboard [tastes like salty nutella to me] and macadamia butter which I slathered on some dark chocolate squares this morning.
just buy whatever is on sale at the time, they all taste pretty good. if peanut butter is all you can afford, then do it if you must, but after having other nut butters, I don't know if you will want to!
it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live
at just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up
My 3 yr old eats it like it's going out of style. I let her have as much as she wants b/c it's about the only protein she likes. Hopefully I can get her onto other butters. They are pretty expensive so I'm waiting until she takes an interest in the nut again.
Do you have a Trader Joe's nearby? The almond butter there is much more reasonably priced. I think $4.99?
Peanut Butter & Co!
That is all <3

THE LECTIN REPORT
THE LECTIN STORY
do seach on the link for "peanut"
Lectins and their possible involvement in degenerative and autoimmune disease is a relatively new science.
This report, as presented, is hypothesis, not yet fully supported by clinical trials and not yet at a stage where we have any idea of how to connect 'family' with lectin response. What facts can be supported include-
Proteins institute most allergic and antigenic responses.
Lectins are proteins found in large amounts in the foods as above.
Lectins are not easily removed from foods or rendered harmless to animals and humans.
Lectins from soy, peanut and other beans, wheat germ and wheat, milk, peanut oil (and perhaps other seed oils including soy oil) and nightshades, in a variety of clinical studies have shown various damage to gut lining, joints, kidney, pancreas and brain (even able to cross the blood-brain barrier).
Lectins found in peanut oil have been implicated in atherosclerosis. Leaving open the possibility that other seed oils contain damaging lectins and that polyunsaturation and free radicals may not be the full picture on the dangers of polyunsaturated fats.
You may react to lectin toxicity due to genetics, intensity of exposure, failure of immune factors to protect you, viral infection, bacterial infection or gut permeability induced by medication or infection.
Lectin toxicity (antigen-antibody response) can be 'sub-clinical' not showing obvious symptoms for many years.
Would I be putting a grain-feed cow on a fad diet if I took it out of the feedlot and put it on pasture eating the grass nature intended?
