    Isn't corned beef just pickled beef brisket? Is there something about it that's not primal that I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

    edited to add: never mind. I see that corned beef is often cured with nitrates. Got it.

    This is what's called corned beef in the UK Princes product: Corned Beef

    It's not too bad, but it does have sugar and nitrates in.
    You know all those pictures of Adam and Eve where they have belly button? Think about it..................... take as long as you need........................

    Fat-free yogurt with fiber cereal (the kind that looks like twigs). Granted I haven't eaten that in a while but I did go through a phase where that was breakfast every day for a while.

    Fat-free cheese. Had very questionable ingredients, tasted horrible and was like chewing on rubber.

    Tofu. Was never a big fan but thought it was healthy.

    And low-calorie whole wheat bread. Hated it, had an essay for an ingredients list too.

    Amazingly, I don't miss Crystal Lite. I used to love the stuff and plain water gave me heartburn, so I drank it a lot.

    I got a water filter pitcher thingy and though I can't taste the difference, water doesn't give me heartburn anymore. I didn't intentionally give up Crystal Lite, I just don't think to drink it anymore.

    Bread Pudding, I remember my grandma used to make it all the time, but I couldn't really get past the sight of watching a bowl full of mushy brean dumped in water.
    Coca-cola/ Pepsi Knowing how unhealthy it is, I can't believe how people drink it so liberally.
    Velveeta cheese, bleh!
    Any type of bean.
    Those bran cereals to improve digestion.
    Comercial soups!!
    Canned sausages which already thought looked pretty nasty to begin with
    Seven up for when I was feeling ill.

    Whole wheat bread. Having a face full of acne for the majority of my middle/high school days was absolutely miserable.

    I'm also dairy-free for that reason, but I know not every primal person avoids that entirely. Before I gave it up, I ate Yoplait every single day. Probably a lot of crap in that so called "healthy" yogurt.

    TV dinners. My family used to live off those. My poor organs...

    Propel fitness water. My heavy drinking of this for so many years made me feel that plain water tasted bad. How crazy is that?

    Tofu. Always hated it, but needed protein from somewhere!
    Fat-free Greek yogourt. Tasted like a paste made with water and chalk powder.
    Soy Milk
    Beans/lentils
    Doughnuts (major heartburn!)
    Fake meat
    Whole grain anything
    Margarine
    Cereal (hot and cold)
    Sandwiches
    Pasta
    Chinese take away, used to love it but now it just tastes foul!
