Oh yeah. And iced coffee. I get funny looks when I ask for a shot of cream in them but OMG they're so much better. I make my own at home though.

And I must reiterate, no more lean meat. I went to the (whole animal/pastured) butcher today and picked up a couple of pork chops, some lard and pork belly which I'll be doing on the grill. It's brilliant.

I grew up on Margarine. I've had margarine on bread with marmalades for 35+ years. Now, I can't see how I never got tired of that...tastes like cardboard with hardened fake oil topped with a flavored sweetener to me now, just empty calories...bleh!
I don't miss the WASA bread either...omg yuck.

Just bought and ate 'Black and Gold' packaged bacon. Smelt like salt and vinegar chips while cooking, covered in some sort of slime and tasted oddly sweet.

Lesson learnt. Glad to never ever eat it again.

I'll always still have a special spot for edamame....and fresh soymilk. I guess I'll move to Japan and indulge post-menopause xD

Ditto about the edamame. Always loved the stuff. I know my daughter does too but, the whole "pseudo estrogen" thing creeps me enough not to give it to her.

I don't miss cereal. Never liked drinking milk. I'm very happy not to make those horrible processed helper meals. Just as easy to make one from scratch with good ingredients, minus the pasta. Thrilled to never again have a pre-packaged 'health shake' or protein bar of any kind.

All that crap that was supposed to be good for me and help me lose weight in a 'healthy' way.

Finally thought of the thing I'll happily never buy again: peanut butter. I don't hate it, but why bother? I have never understood why people love it so much.

Oatmeal. I love it, but through trial and error have realized that it turns my gut into a packing-peanut factory.

And those damn butter-like margarine spread things that have such ambiguous packaging. My family always bought them just because they're cheaper, and it took me years to realize there's such a thing as straight up real butter, like, from a cow. That's a scary amount of PUFA cell tissue accumulation over the years.
