Hi I have been doing 16 hr daily IF for 3 months.
Ramadan is starting in a few days, fasting begins around 3:30 am and ends about 9 pm.
My question is should I eat at 3:30 am or start doing extended fasts , my fasts will be average 21/22 hr if I dont eat in am.
I will wake up to pray and drink lemon /water at 3:30 am
I am female and if I am going to eat in am I was going to alternate with a kind of stew/soup made with prawns or fresh wild salmon, sweet potato ,onion ,butter ,green beans ,turmeric and maybe coconut oil.
Wondering what everyone else would do....
give eating at 3:30 a try, and give the extended fasting a try. just take notice of how you're feeling throughout the day, when you break your fast, etc. and adjust if you need to eat more or more often. this could be a chance to practice a little biphasic sleep and have a small and simple meal at 2 am.
