What you are describing is a PMSF.
What part of this starvation diet would cause you to think this would be a good idea for long term health?
Hey, everyone,
I went Primal about two weeks ago and have lost 5 lbs without even trying! YAY!
Just curious: has anyone tried just drinking Primal Fuel and lost weight, too? I'm not saying I would do this all the time, but I'd try it as part of my 'fast'. I have friends that have spent tons of money at these medical weight loss centers and all they did was drink protein shakes (like Primal Fuel) as part of their Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD). I think they were hovering around 800-1000 calories/day. The doctors gave them B12 shots along with some other vitamins, etc, and the weight just fell off of them. That said, I can outrun and out hike any of them!
So has anyone just tried Primal Fuel? Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks!

I know Mark sells Primal Fuel, but to be honest, the whole point of Primal is to eat real food and have a healthy relationship with it, not rely on shakes, even if temporarily.
It's just not healthy, physically or emotionally.

Obviously, starving is very unnatural and not primal. It would never happen to Grok because he could just go to the grocery store.
A Primal Fuel fast is stupid. Primal Fuel is not that healthy (one of the better meal replacements but not even close to actual food) and it's expensive and unfortunate on the tastebuds. Just eat normal, primal food.
No reason I can see that this would be healthy, primal, paleo, or anything else right and proper. Have you read the book?
If you are new to the PB - please ignore ALL of this stuff, until you've read the book, or at least http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and this (personal fave): http://www.archevore.com/get-started/
I've been having protein shakes lately, but I've been adding fat to them (usually grass fed heavy cream), then having a regular supper. It's not such a bad thing. I'm having no problem hitting 1500 cals and upwards.
I want to try Primal Fuel, but the price is outrageous. I'll stick with my Sun Warrior & Jay Robb
