I was too afraid to weigh myself at the start. My starting weight is what it was last time at the doctor's office: 163lbs. I did not think I lost any weight the first month. I struggled to adjust to the diet. I puffed up a lot from edema on the final moment before the weight loss began, which was week 5.
I had no real goal weight. I just wanted to stop my unquenchable hunger and the insidious gaining. I did that and lost ~25-30lbs to somewhere around 133-135. I try not to weigh often. It's kind of not meaningful.
