sodium acid pyrophosphate
This ingredient is in the crabmeat I buy. I swear I have some sort of reaction every time I make crabcakes---used to think it was the mayo I used, but I have switched to mashed avocado. Does anyone know more about this preservative? I am assuming I should be avoiding it from here on out?

I personally, would not put that into my body!
Although it is a bit pricey, DH & I order our seafood/shellfish online. I too, LOVE crab meat, but I won't eat the imitation stuff. Check it out. The difference is unreal. No comparison..
