Thanks, Crabbcakes and Siobhan. I had a fine, healthy birthday. No cake. Spent the day cleaning in prep for a meeting this next weekend at my house. Related to volunteer work that I'm involved in. Have to do it now or it won't get done.
Enjoyed doing some simple exercises I've found that deal with primitive reflex integration. Well, so far, initially, doing them makes me feel car-sick. But the next day, I feel more . . . balanced? Focused? Calmer? I can't quite believe those feelings are part of my experience.
Anyway, it's been good to be alive.

So, yesterday was the last day of vacay. Thursday and Friday off, plus the weekend, plus Monday. Five days away from work. Counseling on Saturday for stress and possible job alternatives. Good Sunday at church and afterward with friends.
An answer to prayer: discovering and doing three simple exercises that are definitely not HIIT but have made a difference in my sense of well-being and my posture. The Lizard, rolling back and forth on the floor, and crawling on hands and knees.
Ate mostly eggs and veggies, a couple of pork steaks. Satisfying.
Took fish oil, vitamin D3, astaxanthin, bilberry.
Looked in the mirror yesterday. Looked . . . less fat.
Weighed 228.5, down half a pound from last time I weighed.
A good five days.

Excellent!! Glad to hear it! You and I are quite similar in body type as you mentioned previously and I've just gone to 229.2 today, its nice to know we're making progress! And good luck with potential job alternatives, I had to leave my last one due to stress and the difference between the old and the new is night and day. Best wishes and keep us updated
