My roomies accidentally left out my leftover liver & onions for probably 4-6 hours at least and it's now room temperature. What's the consensus on whether I should eat this?

This is what your immune system is for. do you think grok had a fridge to store his liver before he ate it? no he let it tenderize a while then cooked it when he could.

I have eaten coooked chicken that was out on the counter more than 12 hours with no side effects.

Eat it unless it smells funky. Spit it out if it takes funky (well, funkier than liver and onions). And stop being a baby, wuss.
Today I will: Eat food, not poison. Plan for success, not settle for failure. Live my real life, not a virtual one. Move and grow, not sit and die.

I would slice off a piece of just the liver, no onions to mask the smell. Sniff test it then taste test. If it's off, you will know.
