I found some hot sauce at the Mexican grocery that had only vinegar, water and dried chilis. No preservatives or artificial stuff or sugar. It kinda just tastes like dried chilis and not hot enough, but there were others and I intend to try them. Meanwhile, the good old rooster sauce is good and I don't care at all that there are non-primal ingredients in it.

In my experience, there's some "hot enough" hot sauces at Mexican stores, but all the cleaner ones w/ no crap ingredients aren't hot enough for me. The "hot" ones had some food coloring in them, that was, years ago, when I decided to just make make my own large batches , 2-3 different kinds at a time, with the hottest peppers I could find. So I make my own about every other month or so. I pretty much spice up my food almost every day, though I do take breaks once in a while, sometimes for a whole week. Good to take breaks, no matter what it is. TJ's makes a decent hot sauce & Whole Foods & health food stores in general got some kick-ass ones, but they are expensive compared to what I mix up in my kitchen.

Before I had to give up nightshades I used to order some fun and HOT things from here. They have different mixtures or just pure pepper extracts. Ingredients are often primal.

Using low lectin/nightshade free primal to control autoimmune arthritis. (And lost 50 lbs along the way )
