Rice chex would be a safer grain if you're looking for a cereal. Kids should not restrict carbs at all, so we get rice chex when it's on sale.
You can make some primal rusks for her or arrowroot cookies. There was a discussion on it in the recipe forum a few months ago.

freeze dried fruits and veg are an awesome replacement for cereal snacks if you need a mess-free snack for out-and-about. there's a brand we like- just tomatoes- if you're not sure what i'm talking about. you can order them online if you can't find them locally. the only downside is that dehydrated fruit can stick to their developing teeth and cause caries, so try to give her plenty of water in a sippy cup and wipe her teeth with a damp cloth.
otherwise, at home, feed her real primal food that you are all eating. if, for example, you're having taco salad (a favorite here), put aside a bit of the ground meat, a little avocado, or whatever. she shouldn't need much at that age. it's developmentally appropriate and important for her to be able to smear foods and experiment with different textures, so expect at least a little mess every time.
